Faith Worketh Patience

The key to developing patience is to endure the small storms and never lose sight of your goal while gaining strength for bigger storms that are sure to come. No patience until you’ve been tried! In the Bible, James makes it clear that there can be no patience gained without trials endured. There can be no victory unless there is a battle. You cannot enjoy the sweetness of ecstasy until you have tested the bitterness of agony. You cannot appreciate the gain, until you have known the pain. If you ask Daniel, he probably will tell you that you may pray all day long, however, you don’t know that the Lord will answer prayer until you been in the lion’s den. When you have faced growling fangs of death and been in the grasp of adversity and watched the Lord quiet down angry lions, only then you can say, “I know the Lord answer prayer, for I tried Him for myself”……………………

Gods’ Way to Find Your Spouse

Ask yourself, How do I have a God centered relationship? Well, remember that Gods’ love is ultimately knowing His love for you means that you don’t have to seek fulfillment in how anyone makes you feel because the most perfect love comes from Him. There is no greater love than the love of God. No one can love you like He does! Know if the person is truly for you. Date someone that you would consider marrying. Choose a person tat has a similar desire for God, one that will build you up in your faith. If you are already in a relationship, positively encourage one another in pursuing God. Help your mate to stay focus on God by uplifting, encouraging, and studying Gods’ word together! Understand that Christians are not to be unequally yoked, that is, if they are not willing to accept the faith, then the relationship may have to be sacrificed……….

Know your Worth & Don’t Settle

You ask yourself, “What if I can’t find anyone better? At least, I’m not alone“. Ever had these thoughts run through your head about someone you are dating or have dated? Well, I’ve been there. There are many people I know that are finding themselves there too. I can’t say I’m an expert on relationships, but if there is one thing that I feel God taught me during my dating years ( and it took some years until now for me to learn this ) is that you should never settle for less than God’s best! God will lead you to someone who is a true fit for you. I don’t mean that your future spouse will be perfect or that you will think alike or always agree on everything. That will never happen! I believe God pairs us up with people that complement the gifts, talents, and personalities that He has given us–if we let Him…………..20160517_205720

WALK BY FAITH

Whenever you find a promise from God in His word, you must be able to walk by faith and not by sight where there will be a transition in the way you think and in what you see. If you look toward the word of God and find His will for you, but you still only see it as a promise to be fulfilled, you won’t walk by faith. The minute a pain comes forth in your body, or circumstances start staring you in the face brings thoughts to your mind you are not going to make it, you will likely begin to consider your circumstances over the word of God. Faith is the proof of what one hopes for. Our hope begins in what God has promised, but faith must change that hope of Gods’ promise into a present realty before it is ever seen. This is how we walk by faith and not by sight. As you do, then what God has said will come to pass in your life, for God cannot lie…………………….

Choose Your Mate Wisely

Women should not be out trying to find a man. However, once found, the woman can then choose to be with the man or wait to be found by a different man. Proverbs 20:6 states, who can find a faithful man?  The fact that the question is asked is indicative of the fact that there are not many faithful men/women out there. However, there is good news! The good news is that JESUS knows where the faithful men/women are. FAITHFUL means steadfast in affection or allegiance, loyal, firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty. Wouldn’t you love to have a man/woman who possess those qualities of being faithful? They are very rare. But only God knows………..(more to read)

Types of Faith

imageEven though life can become complicated at times, if you have faith in God, you can have that perfect peace that passéth  all understanding. You don’t need much faith to be saved nor to get your prayers answered. The Bible speaks of “child-like faith” and “faith as a grain of a mustard seed” to move mountains. To be saved, you do not need a quantity of faith, we just simply need faith! It takes faith to pray, but it takes a stronger faith to keep praying when your life is falling apart. The reason why so many believers quit praying is because they don’t have faith. There are many Christians who had faith to receive Jesus as the Christ, but not enough faith to trust God to take care of them. It is important that you learn to live and rest upon the promises of God and not lean upon experiences, feelings, or circumstances…………………

Seek God’s Guidance

20160517_205720When seeking God’s guidance, you’re letting God lead the way. His way is better than making choices on your own. As Matthew 6:33 states: But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Have intimacy with God, because for too long we’ve depended upon the flesh to do what only the Spirit can do. We need God’s guidance to instruct us to make the right decisions when it comes down to our livelihood and the people we want to spend the rest our lives with. When entering into a relationship, seek God’s guidance to see if the person you are praying for line up to the will of God. Sometimes Gods answer is “NO” or “NOT RIGHT NOW”, take the No’s and Not Right Now’s into a positive perspective and know that God is trying to save you for someone better and just for you…………….

Sharing your Faith

imageOur faith involves action, participation, and being honest about what you’re up to can lead people to ask why you choose to spend your time that way. More specifically, if someone happens to bring up the subject of church or asks if you believe in anything, be straight with them. We believe in God, our Father in Heaven; we believe the world fell to sin and was saved through death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son, we believe the Holy Spirit and His presence in every moment of our lives, we believe we can have eternal life and find unity with God by believing in Him and accepting Him as our Savior. Where the conversation will go from there is unknown, and that’s ok, perhaps you can in invite the person for more discussion, but it won’t be the end of the world if they say no. Strive to be respectful of your friend’s circumstances and don’t try to force the issue if they don’t want to talk. Even during a casual night out, ask the Holy Spirit to give you a sensitivity of someone’s need to hear about your faith, for you to offer advice or when to simply speak the truth………..

Patience is a Virtue

20160517_205720Learning to enjoy your own company will not only serve you well in life in general, but can make you more appealing to others. Whether you believe it or not, enjoying yourself on your own transcend is a sense of well-being that will translate to contentment that will attract other people. Instead of asking God for what you want, ask Him to prepare you for the blessing He has for you. Be open and trust God that He knows what you need and when you need it. Be patient with yourself, God, and the process. Remember that Gods’ timing is perfect and not our timing. One of the most difficult times is being willing to wait for God. We become so impatient and take matters into our own hands. When you wait, not only is your faith being tested, but your motives undergo purification as well. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing (James 1:3)
