Patience is a Virtue!

If you’re looking for a relationship and you don’t have one, no worries! If nothing else, learning to live without a man/woman may seem hard, but it will teach you patience. Don’t rush your life away. The struggles I’ve faced during my years has brought me to learn what patience is all about. I once thought I was miserable without a mate until I decided to take the time as a gift from God. I’m learning every day the importance to wait on things for the right timing and learning to pay attention to my values, wants, needs, and goals for the moment without rushing into hasty decisions that may not be best for me nor my future. Take some time to get to know yourself before you ask someone to get to know you too. I know a lot of you probably saying, “I do know me”, but my question is, do you really? Sure you know your name, height, age, and what town you grew up in, but that’s not truly getting to know yourself though. Learning who you are gives you the capability to love to enjoy without the influence of anyone else, what your beliefs are outside of anyone else opinion, and learning what you want to do with your life outside anyone else persuasion or effect on your life………………………….

How to Use the Power of God

The key to accessing God’s power is to understand how much we need Him to do anything that’s of real value in life. The truth is, whether we realize it or not, we’re all desperate for God every minute and every hour of the day, because being apart of Jesus, we can do nothing. To qualify for the power of God, you must first come to a place where you realize that in and of yourself, you are weak, but God’s strength and power are made perfect. It’s so easy to focus on the negative things in life, such as our weaknesses, limitations, and problems, but if we give them to God and let Him use them to draw us closer to Him, they can become blessings in our lives. God will take all things, even the bad things in our lives and work them for our good…………………….

What is Faith?

According to the Bible (Hebrews 11:1) Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Everyone has some level of human ability to exercise faith in certain things. However, the type of faith that God wants us to have is rested completely on His infallible word because that’s His primary means of communicating with us as humans. Romans 10:17 states; Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Exercising faith in God takes place by believing in Him based on the promises that He has made through His word. The word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path (Psalm 119:105). Therefore, we’re not only led by the word to live a life acceptable to God through holiness, but the word is the point of reference that helps us to know where we are in God and how far off we’re from Him…..
